geNETics

In geNETics configuration you can mix and match any modules. Manual control of each individual module is achieved using the I-BUS network with an FP-9 flexiPanel setup panel. For geNETics systems the FB-9E etherBox chassis incorporates a web server which enables remote monitoring and control of the modules over IP (eyeCon). eyeCon includes Java "Web Apps" enable control the individual modules using a "Soft Panel", which emulates the FP-9 flexiPanel setup panel, and dedicated module specific apps that are optimized for the functionality of the individual products.

Automation with the individual modules can be achieved using RS232 direct to each module or chassis GPIs can be programmed to trigger any module.

geNETics SD modules

MW-2ES - SD-SDI video and audio A/B mixer module

An A/B mixer capable of mix, wipe and cut transitions as well as "U" and "V" fades. The card also has a Preview output.

MW-2S - SD-SDI video A/B mixer module

A two input mix/wipe processor on a single processor card. It is ideal for use in outside broadcast/mobile production vehicles.

DK-2S - SD-SDI video keyer module

A linear downstream keyer unit which has background, key and fill inputs and supports normal keying, additive (pre-multiplied) keying, self-key and self-coloured keying.

AM-2 - SD-SDI AES audio voice over inserter module

An AES audio mixer / embedder designed specifically for voice-over insertion. The unit will automatically dip the program level when a voice-over channel is activated.

LI-1S - SD-SDI dual channel logo inserter module

A single layer per chanel static logo inserter with two independent SD-SDI channels per card.

LI-2S - SD-SDI dual channel, dual layer logo inserter module with animation

A two layer per chanel logo inserter with small logo animation capabilities and two independent SD-SDI channels per card.

CW-2S - SD-SDI channel branding module

A cost-effective SD-SDI dual-layer graphics and text generation module suitable for a wide rage of channel branding and information display applications. Uses the netCrawler design layout software for graphics and text layout and upload. Live text data can be supplied via direct serial connection or Ethernet when fitted in the FB-9E etherBox chassis.
